Senior Full Stack Engineer (Laravel/React/TypeScript)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer (Laravel/React/TypeScript) to join our team and contribute to the development of a product for our client from the US and Canada.

Our client operates in the healthcare industry and is an international SaaS company dedicated to improving the quality of hearing care worldwide. Their software is used by both small hearing care centers and large retail organizations across 13 countries.

In this role, you will work closely with teams in the US and Canada, participating in the migration and transition of functionality from a legacy system to a modern platform built with React and Laravel. You will also leverage modern AI tools and development methodologies to improve productivity, code quality, and the efficiency of feature delivery.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in PHP development (Laravel).
• 3+ years of experience working with JavaScript (React) and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Experience working with jQuery and MySQL.
• Understanding of software design principles and application architecture.
• English proficiency level – Upper-Intermediate or higher.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and achieving results.
• Experience developing AI-powered services and/or AI tools.

Will be considered an advantage:

• Experience working with AngularJS.
• Experience working with Next.js.
• Experience working with Doctrine 2.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to create high-quality production-ready code, actively participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in the migration of critical business functionality from a legacy platform to a modern architecture using React and Laravel.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Frontend and Backend applications.
• Transform business and technical requirements into clean, understandable, and maintainable code.
• Use modern AI tools and development methodologies to improve development speed, code quality, and overall productivity.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues while maintaining system stability and performance.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives for the product.
• Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high product quality and timely resolution of defects.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for new features and system changes.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
• Actively participate in all Agile team processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and product demonstrations.
