Middle Full Stack (Laravel/React/Angular2) Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Middle Full Stack (Laravel/React/Angular2) Engineer to join our team in developing a product for our client based in the USA/Canada. Operating in the healthcare domain, our client is a globally recognized SaaS company dedicated to enhancing hearing care worldwide. Their software is utilized by small hearing care practices and major retailers across 13 countries. 

As a member of the team, you will work closely with our US- and Canada-based teams, contributing to the migration and redevelopment of features from the legacy system to a modern platform using React and Laravel. You will also leverage the latest AI-driven development methodologies and tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency. 
 

Requirements: 

• 3+ years PHP (Laravel) experience 
• 2+ years JavaScript (React) experience 
• Knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS 
• Experience with jQuery, MySQL 
• Experience with Angular2
• Nice to have: AngularJS, Next.js, Doctrine 2 experience 
• Understanding of good software design and underlying principles 
• English — Upper-Intermediate level+ 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Open for challenges, problem-solver and result-oriented 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the development team to create high-quality production code, actively participating in all stages of the development cycle. 
• Participate in the migration of business-critical features from a legacy platform to a modern architecture using React and Laravel. 
• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-quality frontend and backend applications. 
• Translate business and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and efficient code. 
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools and methodologies to improve development speed, code quality, and overall productivity. 
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. 
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while maintaining system stability and performance. 
• Contribute to architectural discussions and continuous improvement initiatives. 
• Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high product quality and timely resolution of defects. 
• Write and maintain technical documentation for new features and system changes. 
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and development practices. 
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and demos
