Agiliway Expands to Latin America with a New Location in Buenos Aires

We’re happy to share that Agiliway is expanding – we’ve opened a new location in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The decision was a natural next step in our growth. Our teams in Europe and the US have built a solid foundation for serving clients globally. And opening a branch in Buenos Aires extends that reach.

Why Argentina?

Argentina has built a strong reputation in the global tech industry over the past decade, and Buenos Aires is at the center of it. A few numbers put that in context:

  • The country’s talent pool amounts to around 150,000 software engineers.
  • Local universities are adding over 20,000 STEM graduates to the workforce each year.
  • The ICT service market is worth around $23.52 billion in 2026.
  • Buenos Aires is often described as the Silicon Valley of South America, as it hosts over half of all startup activity in the country, including the major unicorns such as MercadoLibre, Ualá, and Globant.
  • Argentina also ranks first in Latin America for English proficiency, which means fewer communication gaps and faster onboarding when working across distributed teams.
  • Major companies, including Google, IBM, and Microsoft, have already established engineering operations in the country, which speaks to the maturity and reliability of the talent base.

What made Argentina the right fit for us specifically is that the tech community here is already built around working with international clients. Distributed collaboration isn’t a new concept that needs to be introduced; it’s simply how things are done.

What the Buenos Aires team will work on

We’re starting the new location with DevOps and cloud engineering – an area of growing demand among our clients. The team will focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern software delivery, working closely with Agiliway engineers across our other locations in the USA, Poland, and Ukraine.

What this means for our clients

Wider time zone coverage for clients in the US, stronger DevOps practice, and a bigger international team to draw from. This step will help us continue delivering reliable, high-quality services while supporting clients with distributed engineering teams and the latest tech solutions.
